Live AAC Streaming - Help!

I would like to stream live AAC to the Internet via Flash. I have been told the new version of FMS (FMS3) will support it. But, I have yet to find a live encoder! Flash Media Encoder 2 only supports MP3 and NellyMoser audio.

I will have linear PCM audio coming in via an audio card and I want an encoder that will encode it live into AAC and get it to a FMS server.

I have yet to find anything. Help!

Well, I know certain third party encoders (Flix/Digital Rapids etc) are releasing their versions soon when Adobe releases f4v and fva formats. It'd make sense that a new new version of FME will be released at the same time, although I cant confirm that.

The encoders are playing catch up with the servers. Within the next month or so, you should see live 264/aac encoders arriving, probably when Adobe formally release their .f4v and .f4a formats to the general public...

    d3lf66,

thanks... you mean that there will be another version of Flash Media Encoder? (I am guessing V3). There is very little information out there about any beta or any new version... very frustrating.

Or did you mean other 3rd party encoders that will also be coming out?

    thanks!
