Log into a Vhost

Hi everybody,

i create in FMS 3.5 a new vhost and create a dedicated application folder. I read step by step every passage for creating and operating with a vhost but the Administration Console send a message:

You are not logged into : vhostexample

Please make a separate server connection to it for managing its application.

Where is the right way to do.

    Thanks but it don't work yet.

    I think that I must defined in some point of xml files that the new vhost operating with the same server.

    In my Administration console I can see DefaultVhost and mynewvhost but the application that I see are only the defaultVHost's application.

    Can you tell my step by step the way to walk.

    Unless you're creating a new admin user for the Vhost, you don't need to define the admin in your users.xml file.

    It sounds to me like you're using the server IP address to connect to your FMS admin. If that's the case, you'll only be able to manage the default Vhost. If you want to use named Vhosts, you need to have a DNS record that points to the Vhost. Without that, you can't use named Vhosts.

    Assuming your DNS record is set up properly, you should be able to log in by using the Vhost domain as your server address.
