Hello there,

I am wondering that we can put all of our normal media pieces over to flash server, so we can secure them and it won't store on cache. Is it possible to do that?

Thanks in advance.

If by "normal media pieces" you mean files other than .flv's and .mp3's, then no, you can't . FMS can only serve flv and mp3.

    Jay, thanks for your reply,

one more thing I like to confirm that I have a very heavy media piece around 30mb (not big for highspeed) .swf file (having lot of images and sounds) and can I put on fms to stream that media pieces, so person won't have to download that media piece and it start rightaway.

    Thanks,

No... FMS cannot serve a .swf . Only flv and mp3 files.
