Hello We are about to do a big investment into the media server and the hardware to run it all.

I am looking at some quad core xeon servers with 8gig of ram. In order to get use of more than 4gig or ram you need to run a 64bit os. I would like to run server 2008 in 64bit but the specs say server 2003 32bit.

Can flash media server run in 2008 ? or even 2003 64bit.

It seems a little crazy if it doesnt. surly people would want to run the server with more than 4gig ram including the improved performance of 64bit.

FMS3 is not certified for server 2008 or 64 bit editions but next versions might be.

that sucks. oh well sounds like 32bit 2003 with 4gig ram is the limit :(
