Media Server and SWF movies

I've seen this question asked in several places but have never found an answer. I want to deliver an rather large SWF movie from my website. The SWF file is created from a Flash document and has no FLV video embedded. Would the Media Server option offer a quicker download of the SWF movie for website visitors?

    You're in a misunderstanding. FMS deals with streaming video/audio
    only. SWF is an animation format. It is not a video. Though, SWF
    supports progressive download, it means that Flash Player can start to
    play SWF movie, even if its part is not yet downloaded. Usually SWF
    movies have a "preloader" -- a special clip, showing a progressbar
    unless whole movie will be loaded. If you'll bypass the preloader,
    then your movie will start to work immediately as first frames are in
    place. Of course, it will depend on your particular movie structure,
    how good it will work, when last part is not yet loaded.
