How do i determine what ports for flash media server 2 should be forwarded through my router? I can use 192.168.1.55 but when I try to use the IP address the ISP gives me it doesn't connect whats wrong?

    If you have forwarded port 1935 in your router towards (!) your PC then it should work for everybody that tries to connect to your 'ISP' IP.

    However, depending on the intelligence of your router it might not be possible for -yourself- to connect to your ISP-IP on port 1935 ; it might not forward you 'back' to your own PC or server.

    They only way to test if other ppl can access your FMS correctly is to let someone else, outside your own LAN, connect to your ISP-IP.

    You can test your SWF first by connecting to the local-IP of your FMS ofcourse.

    Just to be sure, you may want to check your fms.ini file and check the configuration. By default I think the ports to be used are 1935, 443, & 80.

    Be sure to post if this helps or gets you any further in your trouble shooting.
