Media Streaming Question

We woud like to host a live video stream on our website of an event at a remote site. My question is if I can use FMS3.0 to do this, and if I have to get anything else other than what is "in the box". I know I have to have another computer at the remote site, and encode and send the signal to what will be our streaming server. But do I have to have more software? I was asked to see about making this happen, but I do not know too much about video streaming. Any advice would be appreciated.

    Yes, one can use FMS 3 to do this;
    Flash Media Encoder 2 can be used on the remote machine, from where, FME2 will encode the Live video and feed it to FMS.
