I think you you have not do settings in your system for mic. There is some setting Ok do one think first check whether you are getting voice in your microphone by using Sound Recorder option under Entertainment menu. If you are not getting voice in your mic then you have to do somesettings for your microphone.

If you want that settings than i can forward it to you on your mail id.

Are you saying you don't hear any audio in your stream? You mention some "link" but i dont see anything of that sort in your post. Also are you sure that microphone is attached to your publishing netstream?

Thanks for replying; Have been away for three days and just now found your

reply. I'm taking interactive language lessons. A segment of each lesson

asks for a verbal response. I had no trouble with 25 previous lessons - so

far as recording and playback is concerned. Suddenly, for reason unknown to

me, I cannot do the recording. Sound portions from the instructor are as

usual - no trouble. But when I try to record a reply, I get a message

saying I must allow Flash player to access my mike. There is also the word

change in blue - looks like a hyperlink but I can't succeed in inserting it

as hyperlink here. In addditon it seems to initially respond as if it is a

hyperlink with the prelimininary signal (hand with index finger pointing to

it.) However, nothing further happens. It doesn't connect me to anything.

My problem is that somehow the connect between Flash Player and my mike has

failed and I'm unable to find the fix for it. .

If you think the issue is between Mic and Flash Player - then i would advise to post the issue here :- http://forums.adobe.com/community/webplayers/flash_player
