mod_f4fhttp Coretech errors

I keep getting spurious errors like below. I can't find information around them anywhere. Anyone knows what's going on?

This is using stock 4.5.1 mod_f4fhttp &.is highly problematic as it brings down the entire s3fs mount point and leaves the whole server unusable.

...

[Tue Dec 18 11:10:48 2012] [error] mod_f4fhttp [500]: Coretech error 1 when processing /vod/file1_Seg1-Frag907

[Tue Dec 18 11:10:49 2012] [error] mod_f4fhttp [403]: No access to /mnt/vod/file2_Seg1.f4f

[Tue Dec 18 11:10:52 2012] [error] mod_f4fhttp [403]: No access to /mnt/vod/file3_Seg1.f4f

...

Thanks,

Hans

The information provided here is not sufficient. Please eloborate the scenario you are trying to do.

Hi Manish. Not sure what extra information is needed.

This error occurs in an Apache 2.x httpd using the Adobe-developed module "mod_f4fhttp" installed as instructed by Adobe in the FMS guide.

This module occasionally yields Coretech errors in when it processes VOD files that have been packaged with f4fpackager version 4.5.1.

I also see spurious Coretech 1026 and Coretech 5 errors also when getting fragments.

These errors are mysteriously absent from all web search engines. I can find a reference, to this very forum, in Google's cache, but the page has been removed.

[edit: This happens on both the stock FMS 4.5.1 AWS AMI, as well as installed Base Amazon AMI with httpd 2.2]

Hi Hans,

Can you pass on the VOD file to us so that we can try to replicate the issue at our end?

Thanks,

Shiven
