Multicast a recorded stream?

Hi,

There seems to be great documentation on multicasting live streams.

I can't find anything about multicasting recorded stream. Is there documentation? Or any other sources of info on multicasting recorded streams?

Hi Kirk,

The focus of multicast has been with live streams. Essentially the same methodology can be used to multicast vod source. As long as you have obtained the source Stream (either from live or vod), you could attach it to multicast netstream and re-publish to target Group.So the republish into the target Group will always be live multicast even though the primary source was a recorded stream.
