Multiple NIC cards...

In core.00.log I am seeing:

Local Interface : 10.114.10.94 will be used for dest ip : 223.12.223.112

How can I force it to use my other network interface (the public facing one)?

I believe the local interface selection uses the IP routing table. Please check whether default gateway is set for 10.114.10.94 interface.
