Need a developer to work with me - FMS/Flex/RTMFP/RTMP etc.

Hi,

I already own a video chat website that uses strictly Stratus (RTMFP), as you may already know, the connections between the peers are not always stable, as in people don't always connect to each others.

From my past programmer's opinion, it was because of Stratus, he is sure his coding is good.

With the release of FMS 4, which includes RTMFP, my plan is to modify my website so it works with FMS 4 Enterprise Edition, which I will be purchasing.

I want to combine both RTMP and RTMFP in the connections between the peers.

There are also a lot of improvements to come for my website, which is all about Flex/FMS/php/MySQL.

If you want to be the first to take part in a project that's going to be very big because of :

1. The opportunities that FMS 4 offers us;

2. The motivation I have, and that you should have!

3. The resources I have to keep growing effectively.

So, if you are competent with this type of programming project, please reply and contact me

Thanks,

Dany

    Hi,

    Did you allready get FMES?

Do you have done any benchmark? I'm curious how many p2p RTMFP Session it can handle with 1 CPU based on the pricing a Intel X5680 will be a good investition.

We hope Adobe will provide us a Eval version to do this benchmark, as our budget limit as to a 1 CPU license but this will only do the job if we can hold 500'000+ sessions at the same time.

    Hi,

I don't have FMES yet, and most likely I will be getting FMIS instead, for my needs.

But if I'm not wrong FMIS don't provide any direct p2p connects with use of RTMFP, you mention you operate a webcam chat site depending on the number of sessions you hold the FMES can be on end many cheaper. Btw. with a few more then 7'000 peers (RTMP) in a webcam chat was our 2 Gbps uplink full (capable 10Ge) and we have need to limit because traffic above 650 TB monthly cost much extra, with this in behind a FMES can be cheap if 1 cpu license can hold enough sessions
