after installing, i opened the html file and it said connection timed out? .....can anyone tell me the solution..i am new to flash media server

    That would probably because FMS services wouldn't have started correctly. Can you please check if Flash Media Server(FMS), Flash Media Administration Server and FMSHttpd services are running, if the machine where you have installed FMS is Windows. And in Linux check if the following processes are running, fmsadmin, fmsedge and fmsmaster.

    Also check the fms logs (<FMS-Install>/logs/) to see if there are any errors.

    they dont run,.....should i reinstall it?
