using fms4 rtmp live stream, able to access the page from internal ip computers on home network, can not

get through to server from outside world. i believe its something in the hub, ive forwarded the ports 1935,80,111

but there is still something not letting it through. in the bottom of my browser i can see that it is trying to get to the

computer with the server on its like the server isnt listening to outside request, has anyone had this problem

and manadged to solve it?

its only a basic wifi adsl router but so many things to change not sure what the client needs to get the stream.on the

web page i do get the strobeplayer through and controls but then cannot connect to network error

Does FMS machine has firewall on? - I mean does firewall on machine allow incoming traffic on 1935 - web page might be working because i suppose by default 80 migth be allowed in firewall settings.

there is no firewall and i have forwarded all ports needed.

i get the player window but not the stream, this is the same as i tried in flash 8 with the flvplayback component

i see video all over my internal network, but, not through the internet.

it has to be something in my hub but i dont know what else to adjust.

what type of protocol does flash media use maybe my hub doesnt allow this

i can watch you tube no problem.

FMS uses RTMP. Youtube uses different technlogy - i think its more of progressive download so i suppose it uses http
