Question

prevent a FLV file from being cached

Hello, as we all know that when we play a flv file on the web, for example playing a file on YouTube, the file is cached on "Temporary Internet Files" folder. Is there a way to prevent a flv file from being cached? Is using Flash Media Server to stream a video file via rtmp the only solution? If someone knows the answer, please let mw know. Thank you so much for your help in advance.

Yes... using FMS is the only way to avoid caching.

Audio, video, and data streamed to Flash clients using Flash Media Server are not cached on local client machines.
