Hi there,
I would want to know if Flash Media Server can be installed at Debian Linux?
Or how I can install Media Server at Debian?

Thanks.

Best Regards,
Frank

    Debian Linux is not supported.

I know that some people have managed to get it running. I still suggest that you install it on RH because this means less hassle for you (installing all the missing libs can be a pain) and your system stays supported.

    Thanks so much.

If RedHat releases the version 5 at the end of this year, will media server support it?

Good question. Simple answer: I don't know. Our Software has to be fully tested against an operating system before we can support it. This is takes some time, so I wouldn't count on it.

Why don't you just use one of the supported operating systems? I doubt there's much you can't do with RHAT ES 3 or 4 that would be relevant for your Flash Media Server Application...
