pRTMP & CDN - is this possible?

Im looking for a expert who may be able to shed some light on a solution and or work around for the following

im looking to impliment adobe flash server 4.5 interactive pRTMP feature but have it work over a CDN .

is this even possible or is there a work around to be able to have this work? any or all suggestions or solutions

on protecting a video stream is appreciated. looking for the best solution to defeat  or i guess minimize any rtmp dump programs that

are able to capture flash streaming videos.

i was told my my hosting provider the following

Protected RTMP is supported in origin-only configurations. Unlike RTMPE, pRTMP does not work in an edge-origin configuration.

are you able to provide additional documentation if in fact pRTMP can be used with a CDN?
