Ya, I'm sure there are other topics about this, but i have no time to look or be very neat right now. I have made a flash video for an assignment but I don't know what to do to change the file type from the generic one to the type id be able to play on a DVD player

instructions in the most simple manner posted as soon as available would be greatly appreciated

Oh... you're talking about an .swf rather than an flv? Well... if all of the animation is done on the root timeline (as in no actionscript or movie clips), you might be able to just export to avi. Beyond that, I'm not too sure.

You might try posting in one of the general flash forums for more help. This is the Flash Media Server forum.

Depends on how the flv was recorded. Was it done with FMS/FCS, or with another flv encoding program?

Try importing the .flv into flash, and then export to avi. I havne't tried it with FMS flv's, but it will likely work for you.
