Publishing Audio

I am creating a service to allow people to record audio and video. The video recorder works great. The audio only recorder never seems to enter the following state

NetStream.Record.Start

So the file is not saved on the fms. When i run the flash locally with the test feature of Flash it does enter that state and it works fine. However when I plublish it out and run it from a site it doesn't, any ideas?
