Publishing stream to media server without Flash (JS alternative)

Hello,

i would like to know if there is any chance now or in close future, that will be possible to work with AMS without Flash?

As we have developed web applications for publishing Video streams from webcams and external video devices, which is recorded and stored on our servers, we are using now Adobe Media Servers. We need to keep last component of our app in flash, rest is built with HTML and JS. Last part of our app which needs to be in flash right now is for NetConnection and NetStream.publish.

I know that we should be able to switch somehow using WebRTC, but i think that AMS solution is much more stable and deliver better results.

Using flash are becoming for us still bigger limitation in terms that our apps are using different users around the world and we are not able to force them to use flash any longer.

Second case where no flash option will be very useful for us, is possibility to have native web-based application working on mobile devices.

Can you please let me know if some alternative exists?

Best,

Jiri
