Re streaming of CDN output, Is it the recommended setup ?

Hi,

I am now using streaming with this setup, FMLE > WOWZA > EdgecastCDN > PLayer. To get more control I am planning to configure my own FMS in my network. In such case if I use it as FMLE > EdgacestCDN>myFMS>player ... is it  recommended setup ? or can anybody please suggest me more effective way by using my edgacestCDN and my FMS setup.
