RTMFP peer to peer video audio lag

Hello All,

I am creating a simple video conferencing application using RTMFP peer to peer(Netstream Direct connection).

Adobe media server is used to get peer Id. Server side scripting is done for getting peer Id.

Aggregating messages is turned off.

Two people can communicate using this application. It is working but there is slight lag between audio & video. Audio comes later than video.

Are there any settings, which needs to be done on server ? Is this lag expected in trial version (AMS 5.0.1 starter)?

If we are using peer to peer, does any server settings affect it?

Tried changing quatilty & setmode for camera.

What needs to be done to reduce the lag(It is around 1 sec)

Regards,

Arati

    Hi,

Try setting audioReliable and videoReliable  properties of Netstream to false. Then try and see if it helps.

    Hi,

Already set audioReliable & videoReliable false on publisher & player nestream.

Still the lag is there. Is there any latency buffer settings anywhere ( on server which each peer copies?)
