RTMP to FMS to PC/iOS/Android!

Hello!

 

So, here is my situation:

- I have a dedciated server.
- I have Adobe Media Live Encoder.
- I have FMS 4.5

 

What I need help doing:

- Broadcast a LIVE stream to my website viewers.
- Protect the stream so it can only play on my website domain.
- Stream need to be embeded to my website and not be played with a bare link.
- Need the stream to play on PC, Mac, Android and iOS devices.

 

Please let me know how I can do the above with the tools I have?

    You can't do it with what you have. You'll need to move to newer technology that was created within at least the last few years. FMS 4.5 is an ancient technology unfortunately that doesn't have a place in the new world of trying to get to all platforms. On the note of protection of streams, there are many articles out there about "token systems", and I'd encourage you to look that up. What you're asking for is VERY advanced and if you don't know how to do it then you may need a prebuilt product or service that exists out there.

    Could you enumerate replacement solutions that has the same quality and robtustness of AMS?

    The same quality and robustness? AMS hasn't been updated in close to a decade it seems. I don't think I understand your question, or you're using sarcasm for some reason that I also don't understand.

    first you should restrict you AMS HTML and SWF settings to your domain only

    about mobiles, you need to find som javascript libraries that translate RTMP protocol or just use HLS dynamic streaming through HTTP.
