Hello, is it possible to build a screensharing application using FMS?

Not really... the only Flash based application that supports screen sharing directly is Acrobat Connect.

The only way you can do screensharing with FMS is to use a screen capture driver that emulates a webcam, and publish the output from that to a NetStream

    Thank you JayCharles,

So i have found 3 options
VH Screen Capture Driver ( http://www.hmelyoff.com/index.php?section=8)
Live Output feature present in the Camtasia Recorder that ships with Camtasia Studio
    UScreenCapture

Does someone knows a better option?

We're using VH Screen Capture Driver, and it works pretty well, depending on your needs you can use the driver as is, or buy a customized version from the guy who built it.

That allows you to create your own Settings Control Panel, make your own driver installer program etc. The best thing of the customized version is that let you remove all the additional software included with the original installer and create your own only with the library required to run the driver. This is something I don't think you can do with Camtasia.

I still don't understand why Adobe does not release the screensharing piece from Connect to the public, now they have Cocomo and they are making the same mistake there too, see the thread below related to the same question:
