SIP UserAgent

Hi!  I'm glad to see this new piece of software.  I think Adobe is on the right track with telephony community.

Anyway, I'm trying to set this up, but I'm running into problems.

Is there way to assign FMG a SIP UserAgent?  Currently when I try to register FMS with a Gateway, UserAgent field is empty, and the system I'm trying to connect to expects a UserAgent string.

Hi Tom,

          Current build doesn't use/fill SIP UserAgent field. For now, there isn't a way to assign userAgent field. Thanks for pointing it out !

          BTW, with which SIP server (name/version) this difficulty was encountered ?

Pankaj,

Thanks for the response.  We use a commercial SIP server here, and the software checks the UserAgent to see if it's something we have tested here.  In our software we can add UserAgent for testing purposes, but won't allow blank ones without modification to the server.
