something causes video to skip with FMS after stop/start the Flash media live encoder

I'm playing live stream supporting flash media live encoder from flash media server. There is no problem with playing before stopping the flash media live encoder. After first stop/start on the flash media live encoder the video is skipping. After next stop/start again no problem with playing. After next stop/start again skipping problem and so on.

Is this a bug in FMS/FMLE or I'm doing something wrong?

    Hi,

    Could you please let me know which version of FMS and FMLE you are on? The latest for FMS is 3.5.4 and for FMLE its 3.1.

    Also are you using a video only stream or does it have audio as well?

    And finally which audio/video codecs have you chosen, do you see this behavior with any codec you choose or specific to any one?

    This information will help me check more into it.

    Hi, thanks for the answer, our problem is solved. After your question we tested FMLE with sound and there is no skip problem. Skip problem is there only if we choose no sound option on FMLE, but in our case we use sound too, we chosed no sound option only for test.
