Storing flv in shared folder

Hello,

I'm trying to have it so that I don't have my flvs just on the computer with FMS. I'd like to set up a shortcut from the applications folder to a shared network drive. But, I'm not sure what's the problem, but I think it has to do with setting permissions for the folder. FMS might be blocked by a password issue. Is it possible to have FMS look for flvs in a mapped network drive?

    I think you need to edit the vhosts.xml file to be able to create a connection to NAS / SAN. Search for the <VirtualDirectory> line and check the comments for a better explanation
