Stream does nothing. Please HELP

Hi everyone,

So  I am testing out my application on my local server (wamp), basically its a streaming webcam app. I placed the main.asc file within the applications folder of FMS, loaded the application in the Admin console yet nothing seems to happen. The webcam stays at the "preloading" frame.

Also, I have just noticed that on the FMS start page the sample videos etc keeps giving me connection error!?! Not sure why, I tried everything and it still does not seem to work, switched wamp off, restarted the server, but nothing....I have been struggling with this for hours now and I am confused to death.

If anyone can help PLEASE!!

    Before i get your first query - let me get to second problem you are facing i.e. Sample videos giving connection error.

    Have you opened FMS start page from same machine where FMS is installed or from some other machine. If its from some other maching have you made sure that firewalls allows traffic on port 1935 and 80?

    I opened it from the same machine as it is installed on. I may be someone of an idiot here, but I am not sure where to check where to look if the firewall is granting access to the ports using Windows 7.

    If its same machine then i dont think its firewall issue. If you can afford just for debugging purpose turn off the firewall altogether and check to see if it works.

    Can you do below steps:-

    Switch off you firewall

    Switch off you WAMP

    Restart FMS and make sure FMS is up and running. if you installed Apache along with FMS installation - make sure that's running too.

    Clear the cache of your browser.

    Open FMS Start page again and see if you still see the issue.
