Question

.stream file is not being created in /livepkgr/events/_definst_/liveevent folder.

Problem1

The ***.stream file is not being created in the folder> C:\FMSHOME\applications\livepkgr\events\_definst_\liveevent

BUT

I can see the F4F, F4X, control, meta, and bootstrap files being created in the folder> C:\FMSHOME\applications\livepkgr\streams\_definst_\livestream

Any ideas on what may be causing this and how to resolve it?

Problem2

Sometimes if I send multiple bitrates like livestream1, liverstream2, livestream3 I'll only see the livestream3 stream files created in the folder C:\FMSHOME\applications\livepkgr\streams\_definst_\livestream3. No livestream1 or livestream2 stream folder/files are created. And again the .stream file is not being created.

Help!!!

    Hi,

    While publishing the stream , did you attach any query string ? If not, I guess you must be seeing a new event folder created under livepkgr\events\_definist_ folder with the stream name. Please confirm if that is the case.

    In the case of multiple bit rate files, there should not be any reason why they are all not recording. How are you publishing the files ?
