Streaming live video on LAN

Hi there,

I'm trying to make a setup of 4 computers.

All of the computers have each installed Flash Media Server and Flash Media Live Encoder, where the 4. computer is the central where I use vMix 2012 to get the rtmp//: streams from each of the servers on each computer.

However! I cannot see or get a stream from one computer to another on LAN. I can stream it locally ON the computer, but I cannot do that from another computer.

As far as I know, each computer has it's own local IP. The central got "10.0.0.2" while another has "10.0.0.7".

If I want to get the stream from "10.0.0.7" I would use this link in vMix -> rtmp://10.0.0.7/live/livestream - This does not work though 😕😕

I even tried this -> rtmp://10.0.0.7:1936/live/livestream (each server have it's own port, 1935, 1936 etc.)

Can anyone help me with this? Thanks.

    Hi,

Please make sure that the firewall is turned off on all your systems.

Then check your access.log on the target server to see if you are actually getting a request from the client.

    Thanks.
