Streaming video freeze or drops frequently

Using Wirecast 5.0.1 to stream to a Flash Media Server. Have experienced occassional video freeze and drops. Wirecast log contains several instances of the following string:

"INetStream queueLength over max = 1489". Is this a message sent back to the client from the server and exactly what does it mean and what can or has to be done to correct it?
