System requirement to HTTP Live Streaming for large Concurrent users (1500~2000)

Hi,

I need setup a  server for HTTP live streaming for large CCU (about 1500~2000 connection). So, what system requirement (hardware server) for my request?

    I believe AMSCHECK can be used as a load test tool.

    Hi,

    I be glade if someone will help.

    I've FMS 4.5 (now ordering AMS 5) Dual Xeon 2.8GH, 16GM memory, 1G Ethernet.  I've did some tests and under RTMP/300kbs connection,  I reached around 1200 concurrent connections.

    Q:

    1. How to increase the number beyond 1200 ?

    2. Can Apache handle 1200 concurrent users (live session) ?
