Transmitting DVR from lan to fms server

I got a situation here as I want to connect the DVR Device which is connected through lan with an Local IP and stream each camera from DVR to flash media server (RTMP) for remote viewing purpose. My client wants to view his cctv camera from his favourite destination as he has multiple office and want to monitor the activities of other offices. I've been trying to figure out this issues by searching google but was unsuccessfull. No tutors in web solved my purpose. The DVR has 16 Cameras connected to it. Or is it like i want to connect the DVR to my working machine to read the individual cameras? Please suggest me a good solution for this so that i can capture individual camera data to send it to fms.
