wav streaming

I have stored some wav files onto my file server.

Now I want to stream those files in flash player using flash media server.

Please advice.

    Convert the files to MP3 (or FLV with MP3 audio) and you'll be all set!

    How to convert to MP3. The files are on remote file server. Only a command line encoder can do this ( Suggest me a utility for this.). And this can be done using some scripts may be php, asp, jsp.
