Web Cam recording in mp4/h264 avc and aac

Hi,

I have recorded the web cam video in mp4/h264 avc successfully using FMS but the audio is encoded in nellymoser or speex. as you know that this recorded mp4 can not be playbacked on IOS deveices.

I have implemented the trail using this toturail (http://avchathq.com/blog/recording-mp4-filesh-264-and-aac-with-hdfvr-and-wowza/) which records mp4 in h264 avc and aac using wowza. do FMS provide the same functionality? and what are the steps to achieve this functionality using FMS?

Hi Nauman,

FMS currently does not support transcoding facilities. You can use a software like ffmpeg for transcoding.
