What are the big differences btwn Wowza & Adove FMIS?

Many of the cheaper hosts or CDNs use Wowza, i'm wondering if there are any major pros vs cons anyone can list related to using Wowza or FMIS?

I would ideally like to go with a FMIS solution but as i said the cheapest hosting options seem to be based on Wowza.. wondering if there is anyone out there with some good advice on this topic.

    The main difference is that Wowza is written in Java and its applications are also written in Java.

    It gives all the rovustness and the flexibility and capabilities of the Java language and platfrom to the media server
