When will FMS integrate multiple bit rate support feature?

Now it can only be done with the help of FMLE.

Is there somewhere I can check the development plan for FMS besides here?

    I think what you are asking for is the capability to publish multi-bitrate streams? That is something a publisher does and not FMS which is a media server.

    Flash Media Live Encoder is one such encoder which allows to publish multi-bitrate streams to FMS. There are other 3rd party endcoders which can be used to publish to FMS.

    FMS provides the capability to stream such multi bitrate streams. With the support from Flash Player based on the subscriber client's bandwidth it allows to pick the appropriate bitrate stream to give the best user experience that the conditions would allow.

    Hi Mamata

    FMLE works perfect if my task is only to publish in multiple bit rate.

    However I need to do motion detect at the same time.This can be done in Flash Player with actionscript.

    So my trouble is:

    1. If I use FMLE,I can't do motion detect
    2. If I work with Flash Player,I can't publish in multiple bit rate.

    The problem can be fixed only if FMS can support re-publishing in multiple bit rate ..

    As of now we don't seem to have the solution unless I am missing a workaround for you.

    Is it possible that you use both FMLE and FP capability at the same time? Publish using FMLE while you use Flash Player app to subscribe the stream that works for your network and also perform motion detection in the Flash Player app. I am sorry if I didn't understand your requirement properly.
