Question

where can I get the 64-bit version of AMSCheck

Hello,

I'm using the Linux version of AMS 6.0.3 on a 64-bit machine. I'd like to use the AMSCheck tool but noticed

that unlike FLVCheck, the AMSCheck tool was delivered as a 32-bit executable (even thought I downloaded the

64-bit version of AMS):

/opt/adobe/ams/tools# file flvcheck

flvcheck: ELF 64-bit LSB executable, x86-64, version 1 (SYSV), dynamically linked (uses shared libs), for GNU/Linux 2.6.9, stripped

/opt/adobe/ams/tools# file amscheck

amscheck: ELF 32-bit LSB executable, Intel 80386, version 1 (SYSV), dynamically linked (uses shared libs), for GNU/Linux 2.6.9, stripped

This looks like an oversight.

Is there anywhere that I can obtain the 64-bit Linux version of AMSCheck?

Thanks in advance.

    Hi Philip,

    Welcome to adobe forums.

I have verified the amscheck tool and its a 32 bit  amscheck tool we ship with adobe media server currently. I may need to check whether we have this tool in 64 bit or not.  Please allow me some time to get this thing check.

    Best Regards,

    Puspendra

    Hi Phil,

May I know are you facing any issue while using 32 bit Amscheck tool on 64 bit Linux OS, Ideally it should work fine while checking server status.

And why do you need a 64 bit tool, is there any specific requirements you have.

    Best regards,

    Puspendra
