Which timing are the m3u8/ts file generated about HLS-VOD.

I want to know how m3u8/ts file is generated in the AMS server.

I think that when m3u8/ts URL is called, the each file are generated by the "mod_hlshttp.so".

But I am not obtained because I could not find specification on the document.

Anyone know ?
