It does work fine in server 2008 64bit.

im serving files and everthing works fine. Its just running in 32bit rather than 64bit which is fine. when the next version comes out with 64bit we will upgrade to that. 64bit gives your much greater performance. im very suprised it doesnt have 64bit support already.

Did you guys ever try running FMIS3 on Windows Server 2008?
We are looking at doing some OS upgrades and I was wondering if you had any feedback.

Hello I am currently trying to set it up on 2008 server

Im using 2008 server 64 bit. FMS installs fine but will only run in 32bit mode. However im having some issues trying to actually play the streams.

in the logs and admin console it shows the connections and that I want to play filename.flv however nothing apears on the client.

Im still trying to figure this one out so if anyone has any answers please let me know :)

nope, haven't tried it yet.. but I'm not sure how fast companies are going to adapt 08.. I wouldn't bother to migrate for the next year.
