Wont connect once I change from the internal computer IP to the static ip

Have the server installed fine... downloaded the encoder fine, got it set up.  When I use rtmp://localhost/live/instance1 in the FMS URL.... I hit connect it will connect.  I change that to my computers IP  rtmp://000.000.0.000/live/instance1 (example)  it connects with the server... Now, when I swamp that out once again with my static IP rtmp://00.00.000.00/live/instance1 NOTHING.  lol... this is killing me.  Had this up and running until I swamped out my eathernet card.  that changed my conputers IP address and I have not been able to get it to work since.  Router is set up right I think.  Got the ports forwarded and used the defualt suggested ports and changed the ip on it when computers ip changed.  Any ideas?

    wow, I feel abandon!  Ok the answer was easy.  It was one of 2 things.  This time when I released the ports I waited a few hours before I tried again.  @nd thing I did different was that when I downloaded the server for the 4th time, I turned it and and admin panal off before I installed the media encoder.  One or the other. Take your pick.  Only 2 things I did different this time and it is now up and running and can be seen at www.kuukuunutsglass.com
