Generator Documentation

The 'Generator' is included in the list of Photoshop 'Extensibility Options' presented here:

Yet I can find no documentaton, references, manuals or information on the (extremely powerful) technology that apparently has been available since PS v14. There is an exceedingly old GitHub repository containing some now-outdated source code for a 'generator-core', but there specifically appears to be no documentation as to the methods available in the 'generator' object showing how they work or how to use them.

Does anyone know where I might find more info on the Generator?

Thanks, Kevin, but I wasn't asking about the Image Asset tool, but rather about the Generator system that was used to create it. The Photoshop Generator is a node.js-based plugin system that allows developers to create robust and complex extenstions to Photoshop.
