Keyboard Shortcut Issue in Photoshop UXP Plugin on Windows When Clicking Webview

Hello, I am developing a Photoshop UXP plugin.

Our plugin requires complex vector shape editing in canvas, so we are using a webview.

On Windows OS, when the webview is clicked, all keyboard shortcuts stop working. This issue is not fixed even if I click outside the UXP panel. The shortcuts only start working again if I click inside the document’s image. On macOS, this problem does not occur.

Is there a way to return the keyboard focus to the document with code?

    I found a working workaround on Windows / Photoshop 26.11.2. In my plugin, keyboard focus remained inside the WebView after clicks or dropdown selections, so Ctrl+L and Ctrl+M stopped reaching Photoshop.

    Here’s what worked:

    1. Add a native addon using the UXP Hybrid Plugin SDK.
    2. After a completed panel interaction, schedule a guarded Windows SetFocus call on Photoshop’s main UI thread to return focus to Photoshop.
    3. Keep browser focus while editing inputs or using an open dropdown. For Radix selects, restore Photoshop focus after the menu closes and Radix finishes returning focus to its trigger.
    4. Reschedule the handoff if a host operation interrupted it, while cancelling it if the user starts editing again.

    Levels and Curves now open without an extra panel/canvas click, and I kept the WebView UI. This is a workaround tested on my setup, not an official Adobe fix.
