This is such an awesome feature.

 

I played around with it a bit and noticed that some tasks in an action seem to not work?

 

Example: When adding a { "_obj": "removeBackground" } task as a lest step to the example shown in your post, I would expect the background to be removed. This is not the case, the tasks seems to not have been executed.

 

Are only certain types of tasks supported?

From what I know, if you can replicate the action in Photoshop, and look at the JSON, and if it matches (the JSON I mean), it _should_? Can you recreate the task in PS?
