PSD convert to GIF

Hey,

First of all, I really appreciate your efforts in making the Photoshop API, which has brought so much convenience to me. Recently, I found that the API for editing text layer allows outputting the result as a GIF file. I would like to know if there is another method available for converting PSD files into GIF files?

Looking forward to your reply,

Arnold

Hi Arnold,

Thanks for the message. You could potentially use the ActionJSON endpoint to create an action that turns your output file imto a GIF and execute it that way. Here is a link to our documentation that shows you how to use the endpoint. https://developer.adobe.com/photoshop/photoshop-api-docs/features/#actionjson

Thanks for your response. It is really helpful to me. I will try to use the ActionJSON endpoint to do it. BTW, I also have a question about the 'Edit text layer' endpoint. Is it possible to use the API to change the position of TypeLayers? I tried to modify the parameters, width, top, left, heigh, in bounds, but the results were not desired. The position is not the same as I input. For example, I change the top to 300, but the result is sometimes a little bit bigger than 300 or smaller than 300. I would like to know if the Edit text layer endpoint support this type of editing or if there is another way to change the content and position simultaneously?
Sincerely yours,
Arnold
