We had working a dell system with windows vista home edition and we were printing to a laserjet 5000 PS with a a negative option activated, some how our windows broke, we reinstalled now with windows vista home premium and the negative option is not available.

we tried with HP universal PS Driver and the negative option is not available?

Is there some how install or change a different PPD so the negative option gets activated again

or is the a workaround this?

Thanks in advanced

This is a forum for discussion of issues associated with the PostScript language, not issues associated with a particular vendor's PostScript implementation.

In this case, you are dealing with a Hewlett-Packard printer that doesn't even have Adobe PostScript, but rather, a third party emulation of the language. Furthermore, you are not dealing with the standard Windows PostScript driver, but rather, Hewlett-Packard's own driver.

I strongly recommend that you contact Hewlett-Packard for support or visit one of their product support forums.
