Multiple image operators on the same page

I need to have several images on the same page. All images are output with the image operator. The images are black/white and coded hex in the PS code. I’m struggling to get all images converted to PDF. It is always just the first image that can be seen in PDF. All subsequent images are suppressed. I tried various converters including the Acrobat distiller – all the same. Any hint?

There is no particular difficulty for multiple images, it works if the code is correct. Things to watch out for:

- do not put inline images in procedures

- since an image has to be scaled and positioned, wrap the image AND positioning in gsave/grestore

- in general keep careful track of effects on CTM

- you can use == operator to put debugging into which appears in the Distiller log. You might consider dumping the CTM before each image.

Thank you!

I had missed gsave and grestore.
