Accessing fonts across Mac and PC Platforms in Adobe

How do I store fonts in Creative Cloud so that they are recognized by both my Mac and PC.  The Mac does not have the problem, but the PC gives the message that I don't own the font, but I did purchase the font and I have downloaded to my computer.

You say you downloaded the font(s) to your computer, but you didn't say anything about installing them. Did you actually install them (right click on font file and choose install)? If you haven't actually installed the font, please do so and try again.

It would be interesting for you to show us the message about your not “owning the font.” I know of no message from either Windows or any Adobe software that refers to font ownership. This of course begs the issue of font ownership. Very few users actually own any fonts. More likely they own a license for a font, not the font itself.

Thank you, that was part of it, I needed to install the fonts.  Also, I did not fully understand how to access Open Type from the Type Kit. No I understand that this is managed through Creative Cloud Assets / Fonts.  My error on the terminology, I think the message was "you don't have access" to these fonts.  Thank you for your help!
