Hi,

I am new to ATM. We have Adobe Typemanager light. The ATM is working under administrator login only. Its too hard to get the administrator login in my PC. So pleae guide me how to access the ATM without Admin rights. I'm using Win XP/SP2.

Thanks

M. Karthik

Adobe Type Manager Lite is a long-discontinued program although it may still be downloaded from Adobe's website. It is not a font manager and is not necessary for support of Type 1 fonts under Windows and absolutely does not work under Windows XP 64-bit or any newer version of Windows including all versions of Windows Vista or Windows 7.

The only function that Adobe Type Manager Lite provides that is not already provided by Windows is support for legacy Multiple Master Type 1 fonts, also a discontinued product (over 10 years ago). Thus, unless you are still using Multiple Master Type 1 fonts (typically with the initials MM in the end of the font name), you have no need whatsoever for Adobe Type Manager. If you are still using Multiple Master Type 1 fonts, Adobe recommends that you migrate to the OpenType versions of those font families.
