Bold text before fullstop

Question

If you have a paragraph of text with a bold word at the end of the paragraph, do you bold the fullstop as well or leave it as previous font weight?

example:

Is this correct:

Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Sed condimentum augue ac augue consectetur hendrerit. <--non bold fullstop

or this:

Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Sed condimentum augue ac augue consectetur hendrerit. <--bold fullstop

Silverbadger,In my opinion, you bold it as well. Otherwise it is (more) easily missed, and a bold full stop also adds to the emphasis of the statement/word(s).This is contrary to at least some guidelines, such as those below (see Bold), corresponding to their exception stated, which I believe should be their rule:http://www.sc.edu/webpresence/editorial_guide/punctuation.html
